    This is a very cool spot to visit when the creek is running. When Pine Creek is flowing, Eagle Lake Trout from Eagle Lake run up the creek to spawn. Fish can be seen jumping and attempting to get up the creek. It is quite the sight. During the spawning season, the California Fish & Wildlife capture the fish and harvest the eggs to then be hatched and fish are grown to be replanted into the lake and other lakes around the area. When the spawning operations are going tours are given of the facility and you can go inside and observe the operations. It is pretty awesome and amazing.
